Today we discuss about what are the PROBLEMS ARRIVED WHILE DESIGNING ELEVATION DESIGNS FOR EXISTING RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS.
when compared to newly creation 3d models from 2d plans is much easier and there is no restriction on designs. We can do our ideas as designs and conclude the models. But already existing building modification or extensions of construction we need to check the actual building profile.
The building profile(designs) is mostly in out of date. we want to change into 21st centuries modern elevation designs. Now we take some examples of our project.
Below images are existing building, the building client/owner decided to extent/modify their house. The owner finalized the new 2d plans for existing buildings.
We got the new plans and existing building picture, they want new 3d elevation designs for new plans.
Before starting our designs, we want to check the new cad plans are drawn based on the existing building model. The most important things we check existing columns placements , Windows, Balconies, Porticos are correctly matched. And also check the Newly planned rooms and other utility rooms not affect the exiting building. Incase find any - demonstration process arrive in the building once discuss with the contractor/owner/client about the issues. After discussion they told what are the changes they do or what are they demonstrate before start the construction work. These are things correctly discussed ,no more problems arrived in designs.
Now we can start the designs based on new ground floor plans and new first floor plans .the plans are exactly implement on the design. Then we create the new 3d exterior model designs. step by step process of making the models in 3d modelling software(either REVIT ARCHITECTURE or 3DS MAX or SKETCHUP).
We use Revit Architecture,
1.Make a Wall as per plan in rvt file
2.Place windows and doors as per existing building and new 2d plan
3.create floors and roof
4.create stair case and headrooms
5.Design the exterior architectural works
6.Give the materials to wall,door ,windows(frames,glass,handles),stairs,railings ,floors,roofs.....
7. set the camera view perfectly
8. set the render settings (1200dpi best quality images)
9.Export into jpg or png
10.insert the company logos into render image
11.Then send to client/owner/customer.
